We are an eight-acre located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in the Arkansas River Valley of Howard, Colorado. At Black Bear Retreat, we offer a relaxed, quite, peaceful, natural Colorado Environment. A true Colorado experience. We're just 12 miles east out of historic Salida, Colorado, with Twin Sister Mountains as a backdrop and stunning 360 panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains. The River is right across from us and there are numerous access points to get to the river.
