Blacksmiths Beach House is an amazing 3 bedroom home located 2 minutes walk from Blacksmiths beach in beautiful Lake Macquarie, a great place to relax and unwind with family and friends. Beautifully decorated throughout this 200sq metre 3 bedroom home with 2 bathrooms sleeps up to 6 guests in open plan living. Features a fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, breakfast bar a spacious family room adjoins the kitchen or enjoy a meal at the dining table. The two lounge areas provide space to chill and chat or watch a movie. The main bedroom downstairs has an en-suite with heated polished concrete floor, double shower and walk in wardrobe, the other bathroom is also downstairs. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer. The upstairs area features 2 x double bedrooms with wardrobes, joined by the second comfy lounge room with smart TV, children's books and toys. There is plenty of free street parking in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Blacksmiths is a little village set on 16 kls of beach and Swansea Channel, the entrance to Lake Macquarie. Blacksmiths is a popular destination for holiday makers who love the water and activities such as swimming, surfing, kite boarding and fishing. Redhead beach is on the Northern end of the beach and between both is Belmont Links Golf Course. The beach is patrolled over the summer months by the Swansea Belmont Surf Club members. There are BBQ areas and playgrounds surrounding the surf club, you can walk out along the break wall, or enjoy a wade in the shallows at Grannies Pool. Blacksmiths Beach has easy access for four wheel drive vehicles, you can pull up anywhere along the northern end of the beach to fish. The Foreshore, along Lakeview Parade, Pelican provides a safe swimming area for the whole family, it’s also great for snorkelling and fishing. It's a beautiful location where there are BBQ's and a kids playground and plenty of space for fun activities like soccer or cricket. Relaxing under the beautiful shady trees may also be appealing; you can sit and be delighted by the amazing sun set views over Lake Macquarie, a wonderful way to finish a perfect day. For the more adventurous why not try skydiving, now available at Pelican with spectacular views and Australia's highest tandem skydives or a 10 minute extreme energy flight with Matt Hall, Newcastles Red Bull pilot, there are joy flights available too. Walking trails and cycle paths are popular for locals and visitors. The Fernleigh Track is one of the region’s popular shared pathways, which runs along an old railway track from Belmont to Adamstown. The track is peaceful and scenic through beautiful natural bushland. The track features a 180 metre long former railway tunnel. Glenrock Lagoon walking trail starts at the car park near the Fernleigh Track and descends down a wooden ramp into the forest. Cross Flaggy Creek over a wooden bridge. The track winds gently through forest to emerge at Leichardt Lookout on the cliff top, then through to Glenrock Lagoon & Legge Beach. The Hunter Valley is also worth considering for a day trip from Blacksmiths as you can be in the centre of all the vineyards in 45 minutes.
