Positive: We just had a lovely few days at Cedro Rojo. It is so underrated on booking.com! The place itself is beautiful, more beautiful than the photos, set in a very peaceful garden with a huge tree in the centre, beautiful artwork hanging in places inside and outside the rooms. The rooms are very stylish and big, we had everything we wanted and considered Cedro Rojo to be very good value for money. Christian and his family are very kind and they were lovely to be around. We had an issue with our air con but Christian changed our room for us and it was absolutely no hassle! The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, but we honestly were not bothered by this. Beds are big and comfy and I had the best nights sleep of anywhere we had stayed on our travels! Within walking distance of everything we needed. Everything is a bit spread out in Bacalar, but find the town centre and watch the world go by at night, it was a delight!
