Positive: We loved that an entire house was to your disposal to enjoy our quiet and be ourselves. The description of the property is accurate; worth mentioning is that the statement “upper floors accessible by stairs only” refers to the 3 bedrooms and the bathroom, which are all upstairs. The picture of the house shows 3 windows upstairs (the bedrooms), and then is the wintergarden visible beside the door, which is quite cozy to relax in and to read a book (French books are available). Downstairs is the spacious kitchen which doubles as a dining room (easily seating 6), a living room with (French) TV and the DSL Modem, the toilet and the utility room with the washer. The bathroom has a nice shower area; the shower is protected by a shower curtain. The kitchen is complete and has everything a family needs to prepare meals – for us was also important that the knifes were sharp and indeed usable, not dull like in many other properties. A sharpening tool is as well available. The fridge is family-sized and has a freezer on top. The house gives off a pleasant vibe, supported by the wooden flooring upstairs and the beautiful stairs. We enjoyed the autumn view of grapes which grow on the wall beside the house, and had lovely contact with the host family. All in all, we can strongly recommend this property as a home for short or long stays – everything needed is easily available and we enjoyed our stay (which was too short unfortunately).

Negative: The toilet is located below the stairs - that is for some to be criticized, others find it good that it’s separated from the shower area. To mention is as well that Google was not correct with the location of the entrance to the property – I hope that my correction to the map will help others to arrive without trouble.
