If water sports are more your style you are literally just a five minute walk from the ocean water (and even closer to Mission Point Beach at Mariners Cove, bay side) were you can enjoy, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and even kite sailing or surfing. There are also 8-10 city owned volleyball courts just a short walk away to enjoy one of San Diego's beloved beach sports.
If you like the thrills of a roller coaster try Belmont Park for fun, games, and the famous all wood Giant Dipper built in 1925 and recently remodeled.
