Positive: The staff are all very friendly, Dani at the beach and Sammy at the pool are amazing! Beds are very comfortable, great AC, clean rooms and spacious grounds.

Negative: Pool was a bit warm for 85 degrees, there’s always a large loud group of drunks for at least 3 days of every trip who hang by the pool bar, the food is just okay (we only do breakfast included), the drink quality is just okay. Top issue was zero transparency around the rooms that say “spectacular view”. We’ve always booked the same room since 2019 and always had floor 3, 4 or 5. They were sold out when we arrived and we were given a floor 1 room which had a view of the top of the towel exchange hut and this ugly private event space. They kindly moved us on day 2 to a beautiful view room but it was very upsetting and a pain. I’d rather they add a category that delineates what floor you are booking as if you are facing the water/beach and have floors 3 or higher you get a great view. I prefer staying on the north beach as swimming is better and having a made to order breakfast. We used to enjoy the pool here but the beach had better shade which is important to us (you have to go out and save your chairs very early or wait till folks leave around 2 or 3). The pool was also not refreshing or relaxing with all the drunks screaming at each other. It’s the best spot for sunsets, especially if you wait till much after it looks like it’s gone done. That was our favorite part of the hotel and the live music at the pool, love seeing Hades!
