Twin Pines Retreat is situated Above the Deschutes River, you can hear it, stay amongst the ponderosa surrounded by the Deschutes National Forest just minutes from Brookswood Market, Old Mill District, Les Schwab concerts and downtown. Smart open floor plan with great room. Catch first light in the spa while listening to the birdsong or river.
Main Level Master Bedroom:
This room has a King Size Bed with a Parklane mattress (made in Oregon) with a natural latex top layer and traditional coils. In the closet there is an additional twin bed mattress that can be pulled out if needed. In this room there is a 50" Vizio 4k screen and a large double sink bathroom (and local bar soap). Also, there is a independent access to the deck.
Second Main Level Bedroom:
This room has Queen size bed with a Parklane mattress (made in Oregon) with a natural latex top layer and traditional coils, which sit on a platform bed frame. This bedroom shares a small bathroom with the third bedroom.
Third Main Level Bedroom:
This room has a traditional Queen size bed with box spring so it sits higher. This bedroom shares a small bathroom with the second bedroom.
Second Level Bunkroom :
This room has two platform Twin beds with Twin trundles underneath (duvets are located in basket behind office nook), one standalone Twin platform bed and one Queen platform bed, all these beds have Oregon made Parklane mattresses with traditional coils and a top layer of natural latex. There is access to the upper level deck, a dropped ceiling half bath, an office nook, and a pocket door that can create privacy for this wing of the house.
The living room has a 55" Samsung 4k smart tv, a leather couch set, and nice fireplace which can heat up the entire house, if you plan on making a fire please be very careful and use it if you are familiar with proper fireplace etiquette, you can use the firewood out in the front, otherwise feel free to set the nest thermostat (in the hallway) to the temperature of your liking.
To gain access to the house you will get a code to the smart lock on the front door (locking the august twist dead bolt requires only a soft 1/4 turn). The entry closet has space to hang your coats and there are some fun board games for our guests to use.
There is a laundry closet with a washer & dryer for our guests to use on the main level across from the second bedroom.
The kitchen is well appointed for cooking sumptuous meals (olive oil and spices provided) and preparing artisan coffee with either a drip maker or pour over station (we provide the best local coffee from Lone Pine Coffee Roasters), there is a charging station for the plethora of smart devices destined to need a charge (note: the water dispenser/ice machine are not functional on the refridge), the award winning (seriously) water from the tap tastes like bottled water.
The Garage can be used for a vehicle if needed (access via inside the garage), the other half of the garage is for games (and stuff).
The back deck is where the 3 person hot tub is located. Also the deck has some string lights that are turned on via a remote in the kitchen.
In the winter months we get snow (you're probable here for snow on bachelor so this may be a duh point), so bring the right kind of vehicle and/or traction tires. We will try to have a snow plow come when the snow piles up high, but in case they don't get there in time there are some snow shovels in the garage.
