The 6th arrondissement fans out from the riverside Parc de la Tête d’Or, popular with families for its lake and Lyon Zoo. Offbeat art installations fill the Musée d’Art Contemporain, while antiques shops and boutiques line upscale Cours Vitton. Leafy Avenue du Maréchal Foch is overlooked by imposing beaux-arts mansions, with bouchon bistros serving traditional fare in nearby streets.
Often described as the chicest district of Lyon, the area is surrounded by wide avenues (Boulevard des Belges, Rue Duquesne, Avenue Foch ...) lined with beautiful buildings and mansions with a view of the Parc de la Tête d'Or. It is also a shopping district, mainly around Cours Vitton.
My flat is easily accessible by various public transportation, the easiest is by train!
The nearest train station is Masséna Metro - 3 mins away on foot. There's also the Part Dieu Station just 15 mins walk from the flat.
From both of these stations, you can go to various places in or on the outskirts of Lyon!
Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is 26 mins drive from the flat.
