Positive: As you walk in from the entrance, the view that unfolds is absolutely beautiful. Sitting at the restaurant during sunset with a Bintang in hand, looking out at the ocean, was just perfect. The on-site restaurant serves both Indonesian and French-style dishes, and we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there — everything we tried was delicious. The staff were also incredibly friendly

Negative: The only downside was the location — although the view was stunning, the resort is quite isolated on the beachfront. There are a few neighbouring resorts, but dining and activity options within walking distance were limited. Another thing we found inconvenient was that there was no fridge in our bungalow, not even a small one. It was extremely hot during our stay, and unless we bought drinks from the restaurant, it was hard to keep anything cool. The reception also operates on limited hours, which caused a bit of trouble when we checked in late. One of our group had a large suitcase, and the stairs leading down to the bungalow were very steep. Since we couldn’t reach reception at that time, we didn’t know what to do for a while. Fortunately, a staff member eventually found us and helped carry the luggage. Still, it would have been helpful if the steep stairs and lack of accessible paths had been mentioned beforehand, as it would have made choosing the accommodation easier.
